The Role of the Private Client Solicitor Conduct matters on behalf of clients in Private Client Law and related matters Maintain orderly and up-to-date files including electronic files and complying with the companies’ policies on file management Financial control including managing cash flow for the team through efficient billing and payment procedures Recognising fee-earning opportunities and developing those opportunities Compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Code of Conduct and the Money Laundering Regulations in accordance with current guidance from the SRA and the company Identifying and meeting job related training and development targets Supervision of fee-earning work undertaken by junior members of the team The Ideal Private Client Solicitor will possess:- Solicitor qualification with 4 years PQE in Private Client work STEP qualification desirable Experience in all aspects of Private Client Law - including wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, probate and contentious probate, inheritance tax and estate planning.
