Reporting to: Technology Director - Aggregates
Reporting to the Technology Director - Aggregates, the Electrical Systems Manager will be responsible for the project delivery, long term strategic direction, day to day management and development of the electrical engineering team and function within Aggregates and Environmental Products. This is a varied and challenging role and proactive collaboration across multiple stakeholders and locations is key.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Full responsibility for electrical engineering project deliveries, on time and within budget
Management of the existing electrical engineering team across multiple geographical locations
Pro-active collaboration across mechanical engineering, aftermarket, warranty and other internal functions to ensure Electrical product is supported right through its lifecycle.
Accelerated development and delivery of new electrical / control system products
Ensure voice of the customer is reflected in the evolution of electrical control systems delivered on our various products.
Responsibility for ensuring delivered control system product is fit for purpose yet cost effective.
Ensure rigorous adherence to engineering standards, testing processes and engineering data accuracy.
Communicate effectively with brand aftermarket teams to ensure customer and Distribution Partner concerns/feedback are addressed in a timely manner.
Take complete ownership of system reliability, continuous improvement and designed in quality.
Ensure Product meets required conformance standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
A strong proven ability to lead both individuals and teams across multiple locations, with ability to collaborate and influence outside your sphere of responsibility.
Proven track record in on time and in budget project delivery
Extensive industry experience in industrial / mobile equipment control systems design, testing and validation.
A relevant high level qualification in Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
Proven history of delivering on NPPD projects
Good English communication skill, both written and spoken.
Excellent Presentation and interpersonal skills
Excellent Organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of worldwide electrical standards
