A secondary school in the Leeds/Ilkley area is seeking a skilled Design & Technology Technician to join their team as soon as possible.? About the RoleYou will play a key part in supporting the DT department, ensuring workshops, tools, and materials are prepared and maintained to a high standard. This is a full-time temporary role, ideal for someone who thrives in a school environment and enjoys hands-on, practical work.?? LocationSecondary school based in Leeds/Ilkley? Start DateImmediate start (ASAP)?? Key Responsibilities
* Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for DT lessons
* Maintaining machinery and ensuring safe working practices
* Supporting teachers during practical sessions
* Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
* Ensuring workshops remain organised, safe, and compliant
�? Requirements
* Relevant experience as a DT Technician (school or workshop environment)
* Strong knowledge of DT tools, machinery, and health & safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, if you do not currently have one, you must be willing to apply
