Ideally 7 hours on Monday and 3 hours on Thursday, but open to negotiation from Monday to Friday for the right candidate.
Role Overview
The Local Housing Manager team is at the heart of a Housing 21 Retirement Living scheme. This customer-facing role supports the Local Housing Manager in providing a professional, high-quality, and effective housing and support service to residents. The Assistant Local Housing Manager assists and deputises for the Local Housing Manager, overseeing all aspects of court life and relationships with the local community. The role is diverse, and no two days are the same.
Our Assistant Local Housing Managers support residents to live independently, focusing on tenancy sustainment, support, and wellbeing. They work with the Local Housing Manager to ensure the building's safety and security, engage actively with residents and the community, and help residents reach consensus on local issues affecting their homes.
Minimum Requirements
* Excellent reading, writing, and numeracy skills
* Experience in the social housing sector, especially with older people (desirable)
* Knowledge or experience of issues faced by older or vulnerable groups, such as Dementia, substance use, and mental health (desirable)
* CIH Level 3 or 4 (desirable)
