Job Title: Senior Enterprise Architect
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Salary Range: Depending on Experience
Location: Eastleigh Hybrid

Senior Enterprise Architect: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Enterprise Architect to support the alignment of two insurance organisations through a unified enterprise architecture approach. This role focuses on harmonising business processes, technology platforms, and data flows to enable seamless integration and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders across both organisations to design and implement a cohesive architectural vision.

Main Responsibilities as a Senior Enterprise Architect:
* Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models that support the integration of two organisations.
* Align business capabilities, processes, and IT systems to ensure strategic coherence.
* Identify architectural gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for consolidation or optimization
* Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define target-state architectures
* Provide architectural guidance for integration projects, ensuring consistency and interoperability.
* Ensure technology choices consider factors like value, productivity gains, scalability, supportability and appropriateness.
* Evaluate and recommend technologies and platforms that support joint business objectives.
* Ensure compliance with architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Document current and future state architectures, transition plans, and roadmaps.
* Work closely with delivery teams, guiding and governing complex solutions to balance speed and agility with delivery quality, confidence and auditability.
Skills and experience you need as a Senior Enterprise Architect:
* Finance or Insurance specific experience
* 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, or systems integration.
* Previous experience of large IT simplification programmes of work
* Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate).
* Experience in organisational integration, mergers, or strategic partnerships.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and data integration.
* Familiarity with business capability modelling and value stream mapping.
* TOGAF or equivalent certification.
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
