Hours: Currently 2 shifts (14:00 : 22:00; 06:00 : 14:00; Monday : Friday, rotating weekly), moving to 3 shifts in 1:2 months (14:00 : 22:00; 06:00 : 14:00; 22:00 : 06:00; Monday : Friday, rotating weekly)
Salary: From GBP28,600, rising to GBP29,200 on the new shift pattern

About:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable QA Technician to join our recently established QA Lab as part of our ongoing growth. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Screen all incoming raw materials and finished products manufactured on site.

Ensure legislative food safety requirements and specific customer practices are adhered to.
*
Continuously manage HACCP and alignment to BRC and customer requirements.
*
Undertake internal audits relating to GMP and finished product requirements.
*
Maintain traceability, hygiene, quality, and process records with validation of results, identification of trends, root cause analysis, and instigation of corrective actions.
* Carry out sampling and investigations for microbiological, allergen, nutritional or customer requirements.
*
Work closely with third:party certification bodies for sustainability, religious, and ethical obligations.
Requirements:

Proficient in HACCP principles and practices.
*
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or patterns.
*
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections and audits.
*
Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
*
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross:functional teams and communicate findings and recommendations.
