With a thriving culture of ambition and strong innovation goals, Oxford Nanopore is a UK headquartered company with global operations and customers in more than 125 countries Location: Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Oxford, UK Duration : 3 months Start Date : Summer 2026 Hours : Full-time About this role Intern positions are available from the Spring of 2026, to suit dedicated undergraduate and postgraduate student scientists studying biological sciences, genetics, or biochemistry, and who have a curiosity about pursuing a career in biological sciences/genetics. The ideal candidates will be looking for an authentic and structured intern experience and will be on-course to achieve at least a 2.1 degree in biological sciences, genetics, or biochemistry at university. Details As an intern in our late development/regulated development team(s), you'll work alongside experienced scientists to contribute to critical projects, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced scientific research/development environment. Laboratory Work : Conduct wet-lab experiments, analyse data, and contribute to ongoing research projects. Data Analysis : Utilise statistical and data analysis tools to interpret results and draw meaningful conclusions. Regulatory Affairs : Gain exposure to regulatory requirements and documentation processes. Project Management : Assist in project planning/tracking/reporting. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Eligibility Successful candidates will be available to accept a minimum 3-month placement, commencing from spring/summer 2026. Specific dates will be discussed at the interview.
