Location: Merton, London
Salary: MPS/UPS (£41,817–£63,996) / Lead Practitioner Scale; Inner London
Start Date: January 2026

Role Responsibilities
* Implementing and delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for students.
* Monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.
* Facilitating a learning experience that allows students to achieve their individual potential.
* Contributing to raising standards of student attainment and personal growth.
* Engaging in operational and strategic planning, including lesson planning, resource development, and departmental contributions.
* Participating in staff development and quality assurance processes.
* Maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
What We Looking For / Qualifications
* Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
* Successful teaching experience at the secondary level.
* High expectations and a commitment to equality of access for all students.
* Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4.
* Adept at using ICT, including interactive whiteboards, to enhance learning.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain positive relationships with staff and students.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
