The Role
Work on an exciting range of diesel, hybrid, and electric ground equipment - including aircraft pushbacks, belt loaders, and air start units. You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure the equipment supporting airport operations remains in peak condition.
Key Responsibilities
Service, inspect, and repair heavy mechanical and electrical airport equipment.
Diagnose faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems.
Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Complete all service documentation and safety checks accurately.
Work collaboratively with airside teams to maintain operational safety and uptime.Requirements
Strong background in plant, heavy vehicle, GSE, or HGV maintenance.
Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ / Apprenticeship).
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to pass CRC & GSAT checks and obtain an airside pass.

Heathrow: 4-on / 4-off (choose between 06:30-18:30 or 11:30-23:30)
Salary: £47,000 + £3,000-£3,500 shift allowance + £500 weighting
Gatwick: 4-on / 4-off (2 days, 2 nights - 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00)
Salary: £47,000 + £4,000 shift allowance + £500 weighting
Heathrow & Gatwick: Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00)
Salary: Up to £50,000 + overtime (1.5x) + company van + fuel card
