The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of your projects – from site procurement through to final account. You’ll be working on a variety of residential schemes and will be fully involved in all aspects of cost planning and control.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and issuing trade specifications and tender packages
* Tender analysis and subcontractor appointment
* Managing subcontractor packages and attending pre-start meetings
* Ensuring health & safety compliance is in place pre-construction
* Budget management and cost reporting
* Site measurements, valuations, and managing final accounts
* Liaising with internal and external teams to drive commercial success
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the housebuilding/residential development sector
* Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, hands-on approach
* Ability to run your own projects independently
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Full UK driving licence (regular site travel required)
