The Role
* Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position
* Supporting pupils aged 11–16
* Working hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm
* Immediate start available
* Supporting pupils in the classroom, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis
* Helping pupils to access learning, develop independence, and build confidence

Pupils may present with a range of special educational needs, including:
* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
* Moderate to severe learning difficulties
* Communication and interaction needs
* Sensory processing differences
* Social, emotional, and behavioural needs

Requirements
* A passion for supporting children and young people with SEN
* A patient, caring, and resilient approach
* Driving is essential due to the rural location of the school
* A minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience supporting children with SEN would be beneficial but is not essential
* A willingness to learn, undertake training, and fully engage with the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
