Role Description
We are seeking a Senior/Principal Transport Planner to join our team in Guildford in a full‑time, hybrid role. This position involves leading and managing transport planning projects, engaging with clients and stakeholders, conducting transport assessments and impact studies, and contributing to the development of transport and infrastructure strategies. You will use transport modelling tools, analyse data, and provide expert recommendations to support public and private sector development projects, while also delivering exemplary project management and communication to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Transportation Planning and Transport Modelling, with the ability to develop and refine transportation strategies and assess project impacts.
* Strong experience in Transportation Management and Operations Management to oversee processes and improve transport infrastructure effectively.
* Excellent Communication skills for stakeholder engagement, report preparation, and collaboration with clients and team members.
* Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for transport analysis and modelling.
* Understanding of local, regional, and national planning policies, with the ability to apply them to projects effectively.
* Bachelor’s or higher degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
* Chartership or working toward a professional accreditation in a relevant field is highly advantageous.
