Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance on conveyors, washers, mixers, and packaging equipment
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults (motors, sensors, controls)
* Interpret electrical diagrams and carry out fault-finding tests
* Ensure all work meets food safety, H&S, and GMP standards
* Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
* Act as key contact for operations and engineering leadership on shift
* Maintain records, complete shift metrics, and escalate issues
* Manage stock usage, shift paperwork, and safe working practices
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Recognised electrical qualification (excluding 17th Edition)
* Strong electrical and mechanical experience in an industrial environment
* Ability to read and fault-find electrical schematics
* Experience in maintaining automated food/manufacturing equipment
* Proactive, adaptable, with strong communication skills
* years in an engineering or FMCG role (preferred)
Desirable:
* Apprenticeship or formal multi-skilled qualification
* Experience with food processing environments or wet/cold conditions
* Confident using CMMS and basic IT systems
