Role: Bank Support Worker
Location: Birmingham, Moseley, B13
Salary: £12.60 - £13.30 per hour
About Evergreen: Supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries, autism, and learning disabilities. The role involves encouraging service users to engage with the community and participate in everyday activities. There are currently 5 people we support at this service. As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including the responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
* Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
* Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
* Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
