Job Advert: Teaching Assistant
Location: Sleaford
Salary: £90 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time – Long-term and supply roles available
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join friendly and supportive schools in Sleaford. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives while gaining valuable experience in education.
Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities and lessons
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils reach their goals
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour in a calm and positive way
* Help prepare learning materials and set up classroom resources
* Support children with additional needs, ensuring inclusion and engagement
* Supervise pupils during break times and transitions
* Contribute to creating a fun, safe, and inspiring learning environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or in a school setting (desirable)
* A passion for supporting children’s education and wellbeing
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
* Understanding of safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
