Job Overview
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and professional Care Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a client based in North London. The role involves three daily visits — morning, afternoon, and evening — to support the client's comfort, wellbeing, and independence within their home environment.
This role is ideal for a compassionate individual who is confident in delivering consistent care and building trusted relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication administration.
* Engage in behaviour management strategies to support clients with challenging behaviours.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
* Document and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Facilitate social interaction and recreational activities to enhance clients' quality of life.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in senior care, hospice care, or Alzheimer's/dementia care is highly desirable.
* Trained in using a hoist
* Up-to-date certificates in: Care Training, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Nutrition and Fire Safety
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this position.
