About the Role:
EES Solution is looking to recruit a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead Durability & Robustness programmes for our client in the automotive industry. This role plays a key part in ensuring that customer expectations for vehicle durability are met through a structured programme of design development, virtual simulations, and physical verification. As the Programme Leader within the Durability & Robustness attribute team, you will be responsible for driving all technical activities from target setting through to validation, working cross-functionally across engineering, CAE, testing, and supplier teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the delivery of Durability & Robustness attribute targets throughout the programme lifecycle.
2. Develop and implement detailed strategies for CAE, Road Load Data, system/vehicle rig testing, and driven DV (Design Verification) activities.
3. Collaborate with component and system teams to define and cascade target requirements supporting overall vehicle objectives.
4. Coordinate resolution of technical issues with internal teams and external suppliers.
5. Generate technical reports, test recommendations, and status updates on attribute performance.
6. Ensure that all relevant lessons learned are documented and integrated into future programme strategies.
7. Support milestone delivery and reporting to Programme Attribute Teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong knowledge of engineering test activities related to durability and robustness.
* Project management experience in complex, multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
* Good understanding of vehicle technologies, systems engineering, and durability/strength principles.
* Proficient in problem-solving techniques such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, and DoE.
* Competency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for reporting and communication.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functional and technical teams.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Understanding and experience in AGILE methodologies.
* Familiarity with CAD visualisation tools such as 3Dx, TeamCentre, etc.
* Cross-functional engineering experience, ideally with whole vehicle exposure.
* Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
