Experience | 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role

Offer | £28,000 - £32,000 per annum


We are working with a top Legal 500 firm in Birmingham who are looking for a Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support within their Litigation department.


You will become an integral part of a supportive and collaborative team, where your contributions will directly enhance client service and contribute to the firm's overall success.


Typical Duties:

* Assist with the preparation, typing, and organisation of legal documents and correspondence.
* Provide direct support to fee earners and partners within the department.
* Handle client communication, responding to needs and providing timely updates.
* Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including post, emails, and diary management.
* Work within administrative systems related to finance, time tracking, and bill preparation.


The Successful Candidate:

* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary/Secretary, including proficiency in using digital dictation tools.
* Strong computer literacy with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to type accurately at 65 WPM regularly.
* Exceptional attention to detail, including impeccable spelling and punctuation.
* An ability to communicate effectively at all levels, organise own work, and meet deadlines.
