Are you an experienced, newly qualified or soon to be qualified Nursing Associate? If so, we want to hear from you!
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Nursing Associates to join our established community nursing teams in Derby City. This role will provide care for housebound patients in Derby City/Derbyshire borders.
Full time, part‑time or various hours are considered across core nursing teams based at the Village Medical Centre and Coleman Health Centre.
Responsibilities
As a Nursing Associate you will provide community‑based individualised care including:
* Promoting independence and self‑care
* Long‑term condition management and medication administration
* Completing various nursing assessments
* Following care plans and treatment regimes
You will also have the opportunity to progress and develop in the role, with a potential to apply for the Nursing Apprenticeship programme after successful completion of the probationary period and consolidation of the role.
Qualifications & Skills
* Passionate and enthusiastic about patient care
* Ability to think on the spot and be empathetic, developing the art of quality conversation with patients
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills with staff and patients
* Able to work independently and unsupervised
* Access to a car for community visits and clinical settings
* Commitment to continuous improvement and patient welfare
