Fire Safety Advisor
The Fire Safety Advisor supports the Head of Fire Safety in managing all aspects of:
* Fire Safety
* Fire Prevention
* Fire Safety Training development and delivery to all staff
Main duties include providing professional advice regarding:
* Fire Code
* Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005
* Building Regulations
* All other relevant legislation within the Trust and for other client bodies
The Fire Safety Advisor is to support the Head of Fire Safety in maintaining an adequate level of fire safety across the Trust's estate. They will ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO), NHS Estates Firecode Policy and Principles, and related management and design guidance.
The Fire Safety Advisor will collaborate closely with the Head of Fire Safety, Estates Management, Capital Projects Team, care groups, and departmental managers in clinical and non-clinical areas to ensure a fire-safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role also aims to facilitate sustained improvements in patient care and wellbeing.
