As the post holder you will be responsible for your components of the systems, working closely with the test team and integration team ensure system stability and growth. In addition also act as the 4th line support to the live service team who manage and maintain the live estates. The role will involve:
*Ownership of the solution from design, through prototyping and test to implementation.
*The responsibility for the delivery of ongoing change and enhancements to the solution is response to evolving customer requirements.
*The troubleshooting and problem solving through all the stages above.
*The mentoring and coaching of the support team(s).
Your experience
*Proven track record of creating High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, BOM's and support documentation
*Proven track record of leading the delivery of technical solutions through the design and build phases
*Strong understanding of the technologies and challenges in growing virtualization platforms
*Extensive experience of VMware vSphere 6.7 and/or 7
*Experience of VCP-DCV 2019+ is desirable or VCP5/6
*Experience of ESX performance fault finding and resolution
*Storage experience, Veeam, NetApp, iscsi, FC, NFS preferably Eternus
*MCSE or relevant experience / Microsoft Stack Troubleshooting
*Win Server 2019
