Robertson Bell is partnering with a housing developer who is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a critical role focused on owning and updating the organisation's 30-year business plan.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and continuous improvement of the 30-year business plan
2. Work closely with the FP&A Manager and wider finance team to streamline and enhance the business planning process
3. Upskill the existing Finance Business Partner team on best practices for business planning
4. Liaise with the Treasury, Development, and other key stakeholders to ensure the business plan is fully integrated
The ideal candidate will have:
5. Significant experience in business planning, ideally within the social housing sector
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence non-finance teams
7. A proactive, solutions-focused approach to identifying process improvements
8. Qualified accountant status (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on a critical area of the business. You'll need to be comfortable travelling to the Leeds office a couple of times per month, but the rest of your time can be spent working flexibly from home.
