HGV Class 1 Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Southam, Warwickshire.

Shifts:
* Monday to Friday – 19:00 start times
Rates of Pay:
* Monday to Friday – £18.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
* Depot-to-depot trunking (no handball)
* Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensuring all cargo is loaded, transported, and secured safely
* Adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and delivery schedules
* Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
* A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
* Minimum of twelve months' experience driving Category CE vehicles
* No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
* A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
* Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience:
* Previous commercial driving experience
Training Provided:
* Industry-related training and ongoing support provided
