About the Role
The Stroke Ward at Dr Gray's Hospital is an 8-bed integrated unit that admits stroke patients in the acute phase of their illness, leading to rehabilitation.
Position Details
We are seeking to employ a Band 5 Staff Nurse who is reliable, hardworking, and has a caring, professional manner. The ideal candidate will be motivated to deliver high standards of evidence-based, patient-centered care on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
Excellent team working and communication skills are essential. You should be able to demonstrate ongoing learning and personal development and have a genuine interest in developing stroke nursing.
Applicants must have completed the Flying Start Programme or an equivalent qualification.
Working Conditions
The ward operates 12-hour shifts, with a rotation of day and night shifts.
