Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: Blackburn Pay: £13.75 - £14.50 Provision: Alternative Provision Contract: Full-time, Monday - Friday 8:30 -3:30 We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Blackburn. What You’ll Do: Support the planning and delivery of engaging lessons by providing ideas, resources, and learning strategies Cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher or HLTA Assist in managing pupil behaviour and supervision across a range of activities Support literacy development and social communication skills across all lessons Help implement structured learning activities and assist pupils—individually or in groups—to complete tasks Undertake marking and record pupil progress and achievements Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development Encourage independent learning and help build essential life skills What We’re Looking For: GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Education, or a related field (essential) Experience supporting children in an educational setting Confidence and understanding in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach If you're passionate about making a difference in young people's lives and have the skills and experience to support learning in a meaningful way, we’d love to hear from you.
