Your new role
This is a great opportunity in which you will have the opportunity to work in across sectors including infrastructure, renewables, mining, mixed-use schemes, residential,mercial, education and many more. Primarily working into Environmental Noise & vibration, though Architectural acoustics is also a service they provide.
The successful candidate will be given the chance to work with experts within the acoustics sector; you will be given full in-house & external training, apetitive salary, various development opportunities, remote working and other flexible benefits.
Daily duties will include:
1. Undertake acoustic surveys, and other site visits.
2. Provide acoustic design advice.
3. Technical report writing.
4. Assist in business development duties.
5. Liaising with clients, local authorities and engineers throughout projects.
6. Prepare fee proposals and project budgets.
What you'll need to succeed
7. You'll have attained an Honours or Masters in Acoustical Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
8. Demonstrable experience working for a UK consultancy is ideal but not essential.
9. Hold a full UK driving license, ideally a vehicle.
10. Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) is favourable.
11. Can do, proactive attitude
12. Goodmunication skills as you will be client facing.
13. Willingness to travel to site regularly across the UK.
