Having featured on BBC's Bargain Hunt, the Auction House holds regular auction events and sells a wide range of items. This includes jewellery, antiques, clocks, coins, fine art, books, furniture and much more.

The opportunity:

As the business continues to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a Product Photographer to join our team to support the increased volume of coin photography.

This is a busy role with a large volume of items to be photographed daily. We are looking for an experienced photographer with a background in e-commerce/product photography, who can capture and showcase intricate details to showcase products effectively. If you feel you have the necessary skills required and are looking forward to your next venture, we would really like to hear from you.

Note: We have advertised this position as a full time role, but are happy to consider applications from candidates who who wish to work reduced hours.

Role purpose:

Based within The Britannia Coin Company, the Product Photographer is responsible for creating high quality images that effectively showcases designated products for our website, auction catalogue and social media content. This will include editing and enhancing images to ensure a polished result.

Whilst the primary focus of this role will be photographing coins, there may be a requirement to assist the auction house from time to time with the photography of a variety of items.

Key responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

· Using various photographic techniques and equipment to capture key details to produce high quality images of designated premium coins.

· Editing product images to adjust colour, exposure, and remove any imperfections to accurately highlight the product's features and aesthetics.

· Ensuring all product images align with company standards.

· Creating and preparing images to be used and posted across social media platforms. This will include our website, PR/print blog and auction images for the auction catalogue.

· Managing and organising digital product photos.

· Collaborating with the team for products to be photographed and sold online.

About you:

Our ideal candidate will:

· Be experienced and proficient in the use of photo editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.

· Have previous experience of working within a similar field of E-commerce/product photography.

· Have gained a strong background in photography techniques and principles.

· Possess excellent communication skills.

· Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Have excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
