DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take ownership of growing one of our most exciting vendor partnerships. You will work autonomously to develop the Thales security channel (formerly Imperva) by engaging and recruiting new reseller partners, reactivating dormant ones, and driving activity among unmanaged accounts to generate new sales opportunities. Support both Exclusive Networks and Vendors Channel Sales teams with strategic input on key existing accounts. As the Product Sales Specialist, you will:
* Understand where the vendor complements and competes within the existing vendor landscape.
* Help create end-user opportunities with and through channel partners.
* Work to achieve individual targets.
* Be a trusted contact and advisor for Thales within Exclusive Networks, developing relationships at all levels of the vendor organization.
* Provide training and enablement for the sales teams, ensuring all accreditations are maintained.
* Drive the quarterly business plan alongside the Account Manager and Vendor Channel Team.
* Assist in onboarding the vendor through training and enablement across relevant departments.
* Provide ongoing training on new releases and competitive messaging.
* Support vendor-focused activities, such as end-user events and focus days.
* Serve as the point of contact for escalation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal Product Sales Specialist will have:
* 3+ years of proven sales experience within the IT channel, preferably in Cyber Security.
* Drive and enthusiasm to develop sales and grow the business unit.
* Ability to build, farm, and maintain relationships, network effectively.
* Experience working to KPIs aligned with business goals.
* High motivation with a proactive approach to sales.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of the IT channel and distribution challenges.
* Target-oriented mindset.
* Experience presenting to senior-level contacts.
* Clear communication skills.
