Welder / Fabricator Newtownards Were working with a well-established engineering business in the Newtownards area who specialise in the design and manufacture of stainless steel machinery and process systems across the food, chemical, and water sectors. Theyve built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, bespoke solutions and are continuing to grow their fabrication team. The Role Youll be responsible for welding and fabricating stainless steel components to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and collaborating with both design and production teams. The work is varied from pipework and tanks to framework and occasional site installs so no two days are the same. What youll be doing TIG welding stainless steel, including pipework with argon back purging Fabricating from detailed engineering drawings Working on tanks, frameworks, and bespoke machinery components Carrying out site fabrication and installation when required Ensuring all welds meet high-quality and finish standards Working both independently and as part of a wider team What youll need Strong TIG welding experience, particularly with stainless steel Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Experience in fabrication using associated tools and equipment Nice to have (not essential) Experience in food industry environments Welding certs (BS EN ISO ) Press brake or guillotine experience Forklift licence Food hygiene awareness Whats on offer Competitive salary depending on experience Opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career A varied role working on high-quality, bespoke engineering projects Supportive team environment with a strong pipeline of work Tap apply below and Ill be in touch with more information!
