Position
Executive Personal Assistant to the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a senior role within the BBC Group Finance & Operations.
Location & Contract
London – Hybrid. Permanent full‑time position based at Broadcasting House, with expectations of on‑site work 3-4 days per week. Travel within the UK may also be required. Expected salary: £47,000 – £55,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a strategic gatekeeper for the Group CFO’s time, managing a fluid diary and inbox, prioritising demands and anticipating issues.
* Handle enquiries with professionalism and discretion, engaging with senior leaders, board members, external stakeholders and partners on behalf of the Group CFO.
* Manage complex meeting schedules, briefings and logistics, including extensive travel arrangements.
* Exercise initiative and judgement to identify matters needing immediate attention, escalating appropriately and resolving challenges autonomously where possible.
* Support executive and board‑level activity, demonstrating a clear understanding of confidentiality, sensitivity and governance requirements.
* Produce and coordinate high‑quality documents, presentations and correspondence to exacting standards.
* Act as a key point of coordination across Group Finance and Operations, working closely with senior leaders, their assistants and teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Essential Criteria
* Highly capable and confident Executive PA with proven experience supporting senior leaders in a large, complex, high‑profile organisation.
* Ability to manage constantly shifting priorities with composure, resilience and excellent organisational skills under sustained pressure.
* Exceptional discretion and professionalism, with a track record of handling sensitive and confidential information.
* Experience producing high quality presentations, briefings and documents accurately, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Confidence using a range of digital and communication tools (MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, WhatsApp, MS Teams).
