??What Youll Be Doing
As our Transport Coordinator, youll be the key link between our drivers, warehouse, and clientsensuring every delivery is executed smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Driver Briefing & Support: Clearly communicate workloads, provide accurate documentation, and resolve delivery issues swiftly.
2. Fleet & Equipment Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance, defect reporting, and compliance with VOSA standards.
3. Health & Safety Leadership: Enforce site safety policies, issue PPE, and ensure all drivers follow regulations.
4. Security Oversight: Implement and monitor strict security procedures, including spot checks and trailer PIN lock installations.
5. Admin & Communication: Manage PODs, liaise with return load companies, and investigate missing or damaged goods.
