Our client based in Stone Staffordshire, due to continued growth is looking for experienced Warehouse Operatives to joining their warehouse team. This is Days and Noons (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm rotating weekly) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to stock management, materials handling, and logistics. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively and at times a height of 5metres Responsibilities - Load and unload goods from lorries and containers efficiently, either by FLT or hamd - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. - Manage stock levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory records. - Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring all items are accounted for. - Build pallets and prepare materials for shipment according to company standards. - Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management. - Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. - Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used. Skills - Proficient in operating forklifts; certification is preferred but not mandatory. - Experience in warehouse operations or materials handling is advantageous. - Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as AS400 is beneficial. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent attention to detail, particularly when picking and packing orders. - Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
