Overview
Our client, a well-established hospitality construction company known for delivering landmark venues, has launched a luxury interior design studio in London. They specialise in high-end hospitality interiors and are growing rapidly, seeking a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant or recently qualified Architect to join their team. The role involves working across RIBA Stages 3–5, coordinating detailed interior projects, and contributing both technically and creatively. Depending on experience, there may be opportunities to lead drawing packages, mentor junior designers, and assume increasing responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities
* Produce design development drawings, bespoke joinery details, and technical packages, particularly for Design and Build projects.
* Contribute across the project lifecycle from early concept design through planning, construction documentation, and on-site coordination.
* Collaborate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to develop creative direction and resolve technical challenges.
* Assist in coordinating spatial layouts, detailing, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Lead drawing packages or mentor junior designers as appropriate, with potential progression over time.
Qualifications
* Strong hospitality design experience.
* Excellent AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop skills.
* Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and planning frameworks.
* Experience in spatial coordination and construction detailing.
* Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively.
* Degree in architecture is required; fluency in English is essential.
* Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
