Dakota Hotel
based in Leeds City Centre are seeking an experienced restaurant waiter and morning
person with leadership skills for the role of a Breakfast Supervisor.
CONTRACT AND
PAY RATE
The role
carries a permanent contract with typical hours hours per week, working
any 5 mornings out of 7 including working weekends. Earnings are £13.30
per hour (inclusive of the anticipated tronc payment), paid weekly.
PRIMARY ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Greet all guests as they come into the
Grill, offering and serving tea, coffee and toast before taking their breakfast
order.
·
Carry out the role of a section
waiter/waitress, providing table service, taking guest orders and running large
trays of delicious food to guest tables.
·
Support
management in supervising and providing direction to our breakfast waiting
team, ensuring the highest standards of service provision at all times.
·
Implement
training plans and deliver on-the-job training to drive the smoothest, most
polished levels of service.
·
Have a
hands-on approach to service and hosting, driving standards at all times. Run
shifts where you are the most senior in charge, carrying out the opening and
closing tasks for the service.
·
To have a comprehensive knowledge of food and
beverage menu options to be able to offer guests recommendations, including
understanding the allergens present.

with a champagne room, and brasserie-style Grill.
APPLICANT
REQUIREMENTS
The
successful applicant will have/be:

At
least 2 years' experience working in a restaurant or café environment.
·
At
least 1 years experience training others and utilising your leadership skills.
·

starts.

Be an outgoing personality with effective
communication skills.
·
Ability to work at pace and be proactive for
the duration of your shift.
