Duties
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and positive behaviour.
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress, sharing information with colleagues, parents, and carers as appropriate.
* Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and staff.
* Work in partnership with parents and carers, offering feedback and guidance to support children's development at home and in the setting.
* Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
* Contribute to the setting's planning, meetings, and professional development.
* Support children with personal care routines when required.
* Promote equality, inclusion, and respect for all.
Requirements
* Essential:
* Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g. NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
* Experience working with children in an early years setting.
* Ability to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
* Paediatric First Aid certificate.
* Knowledge of SEND support and inclusive practice.
* Experience of key person responsibilities.
