We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep Sheffield Park and Garden in tiptop condition, running smoothly, and compliant for all the people who visit and love the place.
Working occasional weekends and bank holidays is a requirement for this role.
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
Interviews will be held on either 15th or 16th September.
What it's like to work here
Widely regarded as a horticultural masterpiece, the elegant landscaped gardens at Sheffield Park are alive with colour and wildlife. Four lakes and gorgeous views make this a picturesque location to work in. Family-friendly events are a key part of the visitor experience at Sheffield Park, welcoming people with shared ideas and energy. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and close-knit team in a place you’ll love working.
There is water everywhere - a series of interlinked man-made lakes display mesmerizing reflections of the trees and shrubs around the park. Explore over 100 acres of traditional landscape gardens originally laid out by Capability Brown and Humphry Repton in the 18th Century.
What you'll be doing
As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll ensure Sheffield Park and Garden operates efficiently by running a flexible facilities service. You’ll help the property team meet their goals by maintaining high standards, assisting with reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance and repairs, cleaning, caretaking, presentation of public areas and visitor facilities (including car parks and grounds), preparing meeting rooms, and coordinating deliveries and collections.
You can view the full role profile in the attached document. You don't need to have all the knowledge, skills, and experience listed; this is to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role.
