The Role
We are seeking an experienced Spa Receptionist to join our team at Babington House (BA11 3RW). As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our spa guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
Main Duties Include
* Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere at the spa reception area.
* Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to guest inquiries, providing accurate and detailed information about our spa services, packages, and promotions.
* Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
* Coordinate with spa therapists and other staff members to ensure a seamless flow of appointments and services.
* Assist in maintaining client records, including updating contact information and treatment preferences.
* Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, seeking appropriate resolutions and escalating issues as necessary.
* Collaborate with the spa management team to implement and maintain standard operating procedures and policies.
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and supporting fellow team members as needed.

* 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile spa facility (preferred but not essential).

* Flexible and available to work both opening and closing shifts when required.
Required Skills/Qualifications
* Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
* Ability to multitask and excel in a high-volume and demanding fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
* Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
* Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
* Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
* Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
Expected Working Hours for a Spa Receptionist
* 5 days per week, across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & close.
Travel
Approx. 30 minutes from Bath, 50 minutes from Bristol & 10 mins from Frome (No local transport from Frome).
