Overview
Being a Chef at Butlin’s really is a role like no other, where you can combine your love for food and cooking alongside making special memories for our guests everyday.
As a Chef de Partie, you will work alongside a talented team of chefs to deliver a wide range of food across our buffet venues. You will be working alongside a Junior Kitchen Manager as well as oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs to deliver excellent quality every time. You will be responsible for a specified section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes in line with set recipe specifications and brand standards, and in compliance with the Food Safety Management System.
Responsibilities
* Work with a team of chefs to deliver a wide range of food across buffet venues.
* Collaborate with a Junior Kitchen Manager and oversee small teams of commis chefs to deliver excellent quality consistently.
* Manage a specified section of the kitchen, ensuring safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes according to recipe specifications and brand standards, with compliance to the Food Safety Management System.
Qualifications
* Experience in a role at a similar level is essential.
* Leadership experience and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification would be desirable.
* Experience described with essential emphasis was present in the original; retained as part of qualification context.
