Are you passionate about working with people and helping them find employment? We are recruiting an Employment Specialist to join our team. The role involves working with participants, primarily those with health support needs, to identify employment opportunities and support them into sustainable employment. You will provide person-centred advice and guidance, building relationships with referral partners and local employers to facilitate clients' entry into suitable jobs.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of employer needs and engagement, and experience in target-driven environments. We welcome diverse backgrounds and offer extensive on-the-job training. The key qualities are an engaging personality, comfort working with diverse groups, and the ability to create a warm, welcoming environment for participants.
This rewarding role allows you to utilize your skills to support others and contribute to their future success. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £28,407 per annum (dependent on experience) and excellent benefits including annual leave, pension scheme, health allowances, and career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of up to 25 clients with health support needs, motivated to start or return to work.
* Deliver the IPS approach, with training provided.
* Support clients in understanding their skills, aspirations, and goals; develop action plans for employment.
* Assess support needs related to work and provide guidance on benefits and health disclosures.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with partners as an IPS practitioner.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C or above.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and digital technologies like Teams and Skype.
* Knowledge or experience of employer needs and engagement.
* Experience in target-driven environments and delivering quality services.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the employability sector and recruitment industry.
* Training in IPS approach and Level 3 Diploma in Employability Services.
* Full driving license for regional deployment.
