About the Role
We are seeking a 2nd Chef to join our team at Abbey Courtthis role, the 2nd Chef will support the Head Chef in preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the Head Chef in creating and maintaining cooking and cleaning regimes (daily, weekly, periodic) for all areas of the kitchen in line with the companys quality philosophy.
2. Ensure that any special dietary meals are prepared correctly.
3. Maintain food stock controls in the absence of the Head Chef.
4. Manage and update an inventory of kitchen equipment in the absence of the Head Chef.
5. Ensure food handling, cleanliness, health and safety, and all procedures within the meal preparation areas operate to the highest possible standards.
