Overview
We are looking for a nurse to work within the Urology Outpatient Department across sites at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw Hospital. The role involves leading nurse‑led clinics and supporting specialist consultant clinics, developing specialist urology skills and serving as a clinical expert to deliver best practice patient care.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Lead Urology Nurse in achieving Trust and Directorate objectives and deputise for the Lead Nurse as required.
* Provide leadership to the wider team, embedding safe, effective, and patient‑centred care into everyday clinical practice.
* Provide expert nursing advice for care of patients with continence problems and establish therapeutic strategies to control symptoms and improve outcomes.
* Actively run nurse‑led continence assessment clinics and prostate follow‑up clinics for non‑cancer patients, discussing results with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
