Description

St Joseph is Berkeley's newest brand, created to bring our passion for quality, place making and building communities to Birmingham and the West Midlands.

In this role, you will provide value to the business and insight on sustainability issues for St Joseph division, with a focus on ensuring the division meets Berkeley Group Sustainability Strategy and Standards. Key to this role is the ability to liaise with different teams across the business including Construction, Technical and Land and Planning teams. This will include setting out approaches to meet the divisional and group targets; helping to deliver work streams; and monitoring, reporting and communicating local performance.

Due to the multi-phase nature of St Joseph divisional projects means that there will be opportunity to get involved in strategic sustainability initiatives and delivery of sustainability related targets under Our Vision 2030 as well as overseeing the day to day environmental issues.


The role

This role is located in the heart of Birmingham’s Learning Quarter. Glasswater Locks is a historic glassworks, revitalised for contemporary living. This distinctive canalside setting with retail and commercial space offers residents’ amenities include 24 hr concierge, cinema, games room & gym.

As a Sales Consultant, you will help customers identify and purchase a new home and ensure they receive an exemplar service through the process. You will:

* Maintain sales targets on the project in accordance with the business forecast and budget.
* Deliver world class customer service measured through the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70+, with a target to strive for of 80+.
* Ensure compliance with Sales Department processes, procedures and reporting.
* Adhere to Group Health and Safety standards.
* Act in accordance with company Culture and Values of ‘Our Vision’ commitment to be a World Class Business generating long-term value by creating successful, sustainable places where people aspire to live.
* Qualify enquiries and booking and confirming appointments.
* Dealing with, and supporting agents, introducers to close deals, building and maintain relationships.
* Conduct viewings in the Sales & Marketing suites appropriate with agents and potential buyers from the International market.
* Liaising with buyer, agencies and client solicitors to ensure deadlines are met and queries answered.
* Assist the Sales and Marketing teams in the preparation of onsite events for Chinese and international markets.
* Achieve and exceed profitable sales targets by excelling in selling skills, demonstrating high levels of essential knowledge to perform in the role, delivering exceptional service and behaviour to all customers.
* Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism at all times and with everyone you comes into contact with.
* Create and maintain rewarding relationships with all customers; face to face, on the phone, by email.
* Provide exceptional customer service to all you come into contact with.
* Proactively manage every customer so each customer is more than very satisfied with the service they receive.
* Represent the brand to the highest professional standards of business at all times by setting and upholding the highest standards of presentation in all a customer sees, hears and feels.
* Manage and check all documentation required to ensure consumer code compliance.
* To liaise with the project and customer service departments as required.
* Proactively work to devise and suggest new marketing ideas to drive new lead generation for the developments.

This role has a working pattern of Sunday - Thursday.


Experience required

· Experience of similar residential schemes or property industry is required.

· IT literate with using Microsoft office, Outlook, Excel.

· Comfortable with conducting virtual appointments for the development.

· Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
