Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the A220 Wing Engineering team in Belfast. You will be joining a collaborative team of structural engineers, technical specialists and engineering leads, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for Airbus Wing products.
How You Will Contribute To The Team
* Lead the technical scope of F&DT projects, providing guidance to engineers and suppliers, and liaising with key stakeholders including Chief Engineers and Technical Authorities.
* Define and update certification methods for Outer Wing structures, ensuring compliance and innovation.
* Approve F&DT deliverables and resolve technical issues using appropriate analysis techniques.
* Act as a focal point for Wing-related F&DT matters across engineering and airworthiness teams.
* Support the development of team members and contribute to the modernisation and digital transformation of our products and processes.
About You
* Experienced in structural engineering with a strong background in fatigue and damage tolerance Analysis.
* Solid understanding of aircraft structural design principles and analytical techniques.
* Clear and adaptable communicator, able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Proactive and innovative, with the ability to step back and propose new ideas.
