Teaching Personnel are working with an inclusive secondary school in Portsmouth who our looking for a Receptionist to join their successful team as soon as possible.
We are looking for a well-organised, efficient and enthusiastic person to join the team to assist in supporting the Office Manager by providing a range of administrative support and a reception service.
You will provide a friendly, welcoming, first point of contact for parents/carers, visitors and staff. You will have the ability to cope with conflicting demands, deadlines and interruptions whilst working to tight deadlines in a methodical manner.
Experience in a similar role is desirable.
This is a full time position on a temporary basis up until July 2024 initially with the opportunity for a permanent position should the role be a good fit.
To be considered for this position you will:
* Able to provide a friendly, welcoming, first point of contact for parents/carers, visitors and staff
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Clear communication skills and customer focused
* High standards and attention to detail
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365
* GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent qualification
* Experience of working in a similar role or educational setting
