KS1 Teacher Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS1.
* Support students in building strong literacy and numeracy skills, ensuring readiness for Key Stage 2.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear learning targets.
* Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership to ensure high-quality curriculum delivery.
* Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
* Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and KS1 assessments.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
