Join Telent's ICT Services Team, supporting the critical ICT environment used by our Blue Light emergency services customer. As the Senior Engineer ICT Lead, you will play an integral role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of a highly critical ICT estate while managing and developing a small team of ICT Engineers.
This is a hands‑on Lead role, combining deep technical capability with team coordination, operational oversight, and continual service improvement. Your expertise will help ensure that mission‑critical systems remain resilient, reliable, and aligned to industry best practices.
What you’ll be doing
* Manage day‑to‑day activities of the ICT engineering team including incident / request management, annual leave, on‑call rota and performance reviews.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives for ICT processes and technologies.
* Escalate any issues within the engineering team to the Head of Client Delivery in a timely manner.
* Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure, business / mission critical applications and services in line with the ITIL service catalogue.
* Implement and monitor security best practices across all ICT systems.
