We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Generator Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on generators up to 150kVA, covering Northampton and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities
As a Mobile Generator Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs on generators up to 150kVA.
* Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
* Performing routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance.
* Responding to breakdowns and providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
* Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
* Proven experience working with generators, ideally up to 150kVA.
* Strong technical knowledge of generator systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
* Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
* Full UK driving license.
* Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Mobile Generator Engineer will involve:
* Traveling to customer sites across Northampton and surrounding areas.
* Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of generators.
* Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
* Liaising with customers to provide updates and recommendations.
* Completing all necessary paperwork and reports accurately.
* Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless service delivery.
