We are delighted to be representing an Independent Practice based in Oxford who are recruiting a talented Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team of Vets.
*The Practice and position:*
* The practice has a high surgical and imaging caseload.
* Settled team of experienced Vets including Orthopeadic Surgeon.
* The practice is offering either a 3-day or 4-day workweek, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
* The salary is up to £80,000 per annum.
* Beautiful two-bedroom accommodation can be provided for the successful candidate.
*Responsibilities for the Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon include:*
* Consulting with clients, examining animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, and providing advice on animal health and care
* Performing surgeries, including routine spays and neuters, as well as more complex procedures such as orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries
* Prescribing medication and providing follow-up care
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service
* Participating in continuing education and staying current with advancements in veterinary medicine
