If you’re someone who values high standards, thoughtful leadership, and meaningful community impact—without the corporate noise—this role could be for you.
The Role...
As Operations Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring services are delivered with professionalism, consistency, and care.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will oversee day-to-day operations across housing management, compliance, contractor performance, and service quality—while leading a team of both paid and voluntary staff.
You’ll be trusted to make sound decisions, maintain strong governance, and ensure residents receive a high-quality, dignified service.
Key Responsibilities...
* Lead housing operations and tenancy management
* Oversee repairs, maintenance, contractor performance, and void turnaround
* Ensure regulatory compliance, robust record keeping, and audit readiness
* Monitor KPIs and report to senior leadership and Board
* Manage complaints, tenant engagement, and service standards
* Handle safeguarding matters and serious incidents appropriately
* Deputise for the Chief Executive when required
About You...
We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with calm, values-driven leadership:
* Confident decision-maker who remains composed under pressure
* Strong knowledge of housing management and property compliance
* Experienced in leading teams with both empathy and authority
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail (records, reporting, audit trails)
* Professional, pragmatic, and committed to doing things properly
Your Background...
* Proven experience in housing or property management with operational responsibility
* Strong understanding of housing legislation and compliance requirements
* Effective communicator and capable team leader
* Comfortable working within a community-led environment
Additional Information...
