Boots is seeking a patient-focused, store-based Pharmacist to join our dedicated Pharmacy team located in Dorchester.
This position offers the opportunity to complete your independent prescribing qualification, fully funded by Boots. Newly qualified pharmacists are very welcome to apply. Although we are advertising a full-time position, part-time hours will also be considered.

About the role
As a Pharmacist, you will provide excellent customer and patient care, listening and providing expert advice and reassurance. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
4. Conducting reviews through audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety
5. Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have
To succeed, you should have a professional, caring character and a desire to improve. You will also:
* Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
* Demonstrate high professional expertise and respect among stakeholders
* Have a passion for community pharmacy and customer care
* Be collaborative and team-oriented
* Possess excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and services
* Be an effective communicator, able to meet diverse customer needs
